Despite all predictions to the contrary, paper is still very much with us. It's cheap, it's intuitive, it's familiar; But its accumulation can be overwhelming. For example, paper documents are widely used and remain an important method for capturing all sorts of information, from customer orders to medical records. However, archiving then retrieving and extracting data from paper can be a slow and expensive business. Our Solution: Digital Pen & Paper! As you can see, faithfully capturing handwritten text and graphics with Digital Pen & Paper technology is amazing. It retains all the best features of pen and paper while allowing for electronic conversion. But if this technology is to revolutionize document archival a way must be found to transparently file this captured data for instantaneous and reliable retrieval and data extraction. The Missing Link: DP&P Forms! The following is a Healthcare illustration that can be applied to any line of business
Summary: How our "Paperless Office" Solution" works: - We create a digital template of your paper form.
- This digital template appears on your computer screen.
- You dot-print the template on regular paper from your local printer, (or we can provide it in bulk).
- You write on this piece of paper.
- Presto! An exact image appears on screen on the template.
- You can then save it AS IS on your hard drive for future reference. (Most people prefer this).
- The piece of paper can become your hard copy (for possible regulatory compliance).
- Later, you can update the same piece of paper.
- Presto! the update appears onto the digital template .
- OPTIONALLY: You can take the next step to have your handwriting recognized as typewritten text.
- OPTIONALLY: You also can auto transfer the text from the template to a specified location in your Management Application.

ClinicalCloud is healthcare software-as-a-service that allows users, including physicians, office and medical staff to record patient data. ClinicalCloud is based on "OpenEMR" opensource application software and can be browsed by clicking the icon. ClinicalCloud combines medical clinic management with electronic medical records management. ClinicalCloudsm runs on Linux, Unix, FreeBSD, Windows and Mac OSX platforms and in conformity with our restriction on re-distribution, is distributed free of charge by General Intelegence Corp. Note that although the raw software is free of charge, service charges for hosting as well as necessary technical support such as installation, modifications and additions are offered at reasonable and highly competitive rates by General Intelegence Corp.
Sincerely, Douglas Crosdale President General Intelegence Corp.
1 The Practice Management features of ClinicalCloud include patient scheduling and demographics. The Electronic Medical Records (EMR) features include patient note taking, encounter recording, automatic telephone appointment reminder system and, prescription writing capabilities. Optional features include online services such as electronic insurance reimbursement claims submission, lablink, and bookkeeping, (The AMA charges its own fee for up-to-date CPT codes. These may optionally be integrated by General Intelegence Corp). Additionally, General Intelegence Corp. offers many other services such as data transfer, paper conversion to .pdf file attachments for archival purposes and TCP integration of equipment to the EMR system, so that you may, for instance, import data directly from your diagnostic equipment such as an EKG or Ultra-sound machine. General Intelegence Corp. also designs custom interfaces, and macros for speedy data entry. 2 "Opensource” means that title to the raw software (i.e. it’s source code) is donated and that the user has all the rights of an owner, excepting the right to sell it in whole or in part. This freedom is not the usual case with other software, which is a mere license for use, title being retained by the developer.
